Meriden Branch Report November 2022

The major event for us since the last report was our annual branch stand at the NEC Classic Vehicle Show 2022 weekend. We had 28 bikes on display for the 3 days. Branch chairman Den reports:

“This was another enjoyable and successful weekend with the organisers thanking me and my team for the wonderful results of our hard work. They believed our club stands looked brilliant and also thought we had put so much careful effort into our display. I wish to add my thanks to our members for their hard work, help and assistance.

With over 69,000 people attending, 200 of whom were TOMCC members, friends and family with even more taking advantage of the club discount resulting in a great atmosphere for everyone and presenting a first class impression to the general public.”

Our regular Monday informal evenings at Heart of England Club, Meriden continue to attract around 30 members in a cosy lounge, although only a couple of hardy souls ride in these cold, dark nights.

Did you know that we have a good library of books which members can borrow? Visit our website.

This month, as a probable result of the 2 NEC shows in November we welcome an impressive 18 new members:

Craig Tarmey, Simon Liversidge, Karen Sanders, Ian Jackson, Richard Thompson, Mitch Smith, Ollie Clowes, Dave Evans, George Outhwaite, Vic Ronan, George Teale Beth Cordrey. Richard Ingleston, Martin Lawrence, Robert Stanley, John Hutton, Lindy West and Richard Bradnick.
