Meriden Branch Report December 2022

December was a quiet month for our branch. The only organised event was our annual festive dinner at the Toby Carvery on the A45 between Coventry and Birmingham. Over 30 members enjoyed socialising for the evening.

Going forward into the new year we can look forward to some good events.

Our AGM is scheduled for March 6th at our Meriden HQ, The Heart of England Club.

Prior to this our HQ is the venue for a national club E.G.M. Details on the national club website on February 26th.

Later in the year we will, no doubt, be at Mallory Park for their Bike Bonanza.

Other well attended events include Founders Day at Stanford Hall, Coventry Motofest, in the city centre, Our very own ‘Bring it Home’ Rally, held next door to the site of the Triumph factory and the ‘Big Branch Bash’.

During the year we organise rides to various places usually ending with tea and cake.

Details of these and other events will be publicised on our website, by email, and of course at the regular Monday evening informal gatherings at the Heart of England Club. All are welcome to attend. When the weather is fine we have dozens of bikes on the upper car park enjoying the rural setting.

Our branch continues to grow and we welcome new members Chris Smith, Mike Stanley, and Stephen Hall. I believe that we are the largest branch of the club and a very sociable bunch.
