Meriden Branch Report March 2015

A big thank you goes to Keith for leading our first ride out of the season on Sunday 22nd March.

22 Bikes headed off to Tanworth in Arden on our Mike Hailwood Memorial Run, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and sat outside the local pub with a cuppa, followed by a further ride to Touchdown Cafe at Wellesbourne Airfield. It was great to see members who can’t always make it to the club on Mondays.

The weather was not kind to us for our Motorcycle bits Auto Jumble, only a few people turned up, we still managed to raise £18.00 for the Air Ambulance, so a big thank you to those who made the effort.

We have now held three Meriden ‘Big Breakfasts’ at our local Toby Carvery. The next one will be on April 26th.   8.30am – 10.30am. See you there!

By the time this goes to press we will have made our Acorns Children’s Hospice Easter Egg Run on April 5th kindly organised by Martin Wake. An update will follow next month.

We are organising a coach trip to the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, Hampshire probably on Tues 9th June. Please let me know if you are interested in going.

Again if there are any of our Members who are not getting emails through from the Branch, (Derek has some that are bouncing back),  contact me with either an up to date email address or other contact details, we don’t  want you missing out!

Keep Safe
