Meriden Branch Report February 2015

On 29th January nine of our Branch Members visited Performance Triumph, Stratford upon Avon. Along with around 20 others we were treated to the unveiling of the latest, updated versions of the Tiger 800. Technical details and updated modifications were explained to us all by Dean, who also answered questions from prospective customers.

Refreshments, along with a warm welcome and helpful staff, made for a very enjoyable evening.

We have now held two Meriden ‘Big Breakfasts’ at our local Toby Carvery, The last Sunday of the Month in Jan and Feb, 12 hardy souls turned up in January, some on Bikes, some in cars, 7 turned up in Feb, only one on a bike (it was a little icy that morning), they were very enjoyable mornings, with good food and even better company.

The next Breakfast is  29th March, followed by either our ‘Bike Bits’ Auto Jumble at the Heart of England Social Club – sellers from midday – buyers from 1pm, or a ride out to Stratford Armouries Museum, where there is a classic car/bike meet from 11am.

Our AGM was held on 23rd Feb and we welcome Len Taylor onto the committee as Social Secretary. The Post of Scribe is still vacant, please see Julie for details.

If there are any of our Members who are not getting emails through from the Branch, (Derek has some that are bouncing back),  contact Julie with either an up to date email address or other contact details, we don’t  want you missing out!
