John S. Nelson

Chairman

Riding motorcycles for transport and pleasure ever since buying a nearly new Bantam as a teenager. Second bike was a T25SS Trailblazer, never without a Triumph since. Member since about 1980 on the Branch Committee since the days when we met in the Meriden factory social club. Secretary for too many years, then Chairman, Treasurer, now Chairman again. Rides Hinckley Tiger and Meriden Daytona - others in shed.

Ian Ellis

Secretary

Secretary since long ago. Has 2 sons in the branch, rides Meriden and Hinckley Triumphs and, though we won't talk about it here, a Matchless.

Keith Snell

Runs Captain

Keith has been leading runs for several years now. His mystery runs in particular have introduced many of the branch to picturesque roads and countryside in our own area that were previously unknown to them.

Denis O'Neil

The Branch Scribe

A leading light in the expanding Hinckley Thunderbird riding tendency within the branch. Denis was volunteered to write the reports because he attends more Branch events than anyone else who didn't have a job on the committee already. And a brilliant job he does to.  Don't try and keep anything secret from Den.

Dave Parry

Recently retired, Dave rides mostly Triumphs and is a friend of the Coventry Transport Museum

Ian Kay

Treasurer

Elected Treasurer in February 2007, Ian rides a very nice TR6 outfit in RED. He was our scribe for a while until work commitments kept him away from the club for a time.

Shirley Reid

Shirley is our secretary's better (organised) half. Shirley does a lot of behind the scenes organising at shows and rallies, making sure we are never without the little things like string, wine, tape, wine, matches, wine, tea and coffee, wine, ginger biscuits, wine amongst many more items, not forgetting the wine.

Kevin Davies

Member since 1999. Married to Julie who he met at Branch. A motor mechanic and M.O.T tester. Rides a speed triple and builds interesting specials.

Paul

Paul has recently returned to the fold, replacing the T'Bird which he wrote off leaving him with just the two Hardley Fergusons for a while.

Gerry Boland

An active member who's bikes are kept in pristine condition, that doesn't mean they are there just for show.
Gerry will happily pack up his tent on what most people would think is a show bike.

Barry

A regular and active member who rides a Hinckley Thunderbird.

Julie Davies

Married to Kevin and proud mom.
Joined the Club in 1994 and joined Meriden Branch in 1999. Took Auto Mechanics at school. Repairs her bikes and fully restored her 1955 Thunderbird herself.
