Meriden Branch Report November 2016

Saturday 5th November saw many of our members at the National Motorcycle Museum open day. Autojumble, stars on stage and all those lovely bikes with zero admission.

On 11-13th we joined forces with B&W members at the NEC Classic Show with a fine display of classic and early Hinckley bikes. We even had a couple of very early Triumphs on loan from the NMM.

November 19-27th saw some of our members assisting those from other branches on the Club stand at the NEC Bike Live show. Ken and Jan kept us in order for the duration of the nine day show. We joined up many new members and sold lots of merchandise. Our display bikes were a members 1923 Triumph Ricardo and a tasty new Thruxton R on loan from the factory.

By the time you read this our Christmas meal on 9th Dec will have been enjoyed by fifty members and partners at the Toby Carvery.

We warmly welcome new members Ian Kitching, Ross Markham, Sheila Kiggins, Jim McLauchlan, Bill McLean, Paul Scott, John Waggott, Anthony Courtney and Martin Potts.

Wishing all our members a great Christmas and hope to see many of you in 2017

Ride safe Ian.
