Meriden Branch Report April 2016

Hello all.

              On the 27th March 2016, we had our Easter Egg Run  11 Riders went to Acorn's Children's

Hospice , in Selly Oak, we handed over £240:00 in toys r us vouchers, which were purchased by the generous donations of 17 branch members, we also gave them various Easter Eggs and

10 gift bags, containing 10 items in each bag ,donated by Performance Triumph/ Blade motorcycles in Stratford.

This is the second year they have supported our Easter Egg Run, and we are very grateful for their support.

All the gifts were gratefully received by the staff at Acorn's on behalf of the residents,

Thanks to every who supported this event , and the riders who came along

On 9th April fourteen of our branch members joined the Midland VMCC for their annual Coventry to Brighton run. Most were on classic Triumphs with a handful of other machines of various makes including our Barry who won an award for the smallest bike with his Suzuki AR50. It only took him about 8 hours this year. An enjoyable and mainly dry weekend with most returning on the Sunday. A few stayed to take in the sights and returned on Monday in the rain!

Last but not least a warm welcome to new member Kevin Withers.
