3rd July - We had a ride out to Birmingham & Wolves Branch BBQ - I feel it could have been better supported but there you go. It rained, which probably put most people off but it was a warm evening. - If you wait for nice weather to do anything you’ll spend most of the time at home!

I won best visitor bike on "Black Ratty" (my rainy day Speedmaster)!!

6-8 July - VMCC Festival of 1,000 bikes - Branch Stand and members attended. Weather could have been better! Sorry I haven’t heard any more about it to share with you.

14th July - Triumph Birmingham had their big "Open Day" to celebrate Chris Booth being the new manager. They put on a fabulous day, thanks to all who made it possible.  The best bit for me was watching Triumph Stunt rider Kevin Carmichael - what a show!!

After paying a visit to here some members then went on to visit Brian Hudson  and brightened up his day,  after that a visit to Church End Brewery. (what a busy day)

15th July - Ton Up Day at Jack's hill Café. Great weather and it was absolutely packed with bikes. A great day out for all. Lots of badges and patches for sale - that’s what I like to see.

21st July -Sent from Coventry & M.A.G. Charity Night Barker’s Butts RFC. A great night of entertainment raising money for charity.  Only three of us from Meriden branch turned out to support this worthy cause.

22nd July - We had a trip to the Upton Blues Festival led and organised by Derek Moxon. Thank you for a great idea and a nice ride out, it made a refreshing change.

We finally have a bit of decent weather - let’s hope it lasts.

27-29 July - RBLR National Rally. I went to Ellesmere Port and had a great time with all the Legion Riders raising money for the poppy appeal. I took Black Beauty (my Speedmaster) to the beach for the first time but he didn’t want to get his hooves (tyres) wet! We had a great ride out on the Saturday to the Horseshoe pass and through lots of lovely countryside. Shame it rained on the way home.

Finally, a warm welcome to our new members:

Harry Howard & David Loxley

I hope to see you all at Triumph Live
